Sudafed Liquid

Sudafed Liquid is used to relieve the symptoms of nasal congestion associated with hayfever, colds, or flu, and are non-drowsy.

Active Ingredient

Each 5ml of syrup contains 30mg of Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride  as the active ingredient.  Please see product packaging for a full list of other ingredients.  Pack size is 100ml

Who can use Sudafed Liquid?

Sudafed Liquid can be used by adults and children aged 6 years and older.

Dose

Adults and Children aged 12 years and over – take two 5ml spoonfuls every four to six hours up to a maximum of four doses in 24 hours.

Children aged between 6 years and 12 year – take one 5ml spoonful every four to six hours up to a maximum of four doses in 24 hours.

Side Effects and Cautions

Reported side effects include headache, dizziness and difficulty sleeping.  Please see product literature for a full list of possible side effects.  Do not use Sudafed Liquid if you are allergic to any ingredients; if you are taking drugs known as monamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs); if you have cardiovascular disease including high blood pressure; if you have diabetes, severe kidney failure, over-active thyroid gland, or closed angle glaucoma.

Pregnancy or Breastfeeding

Consult your doctor before using if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to Store Sudafed Liquid

Store Sudafed Liquid  below 25ºC and remember to keep all medicine out of sight and reach of children. You should return any unused or date expired medicines to your pharmacist for safe destruction.
