Sudafed Nasal Spray
Sudafed Nasal Spray is used to relieve the symptoms of nasal congestion associated with hayfever, allergy, colds, or flu, and is non-drowsy.

Active Ingredient
Each spray dose contains 140 micrograms of Xylometazoline Hydrochloride as the active ingredient. Please see product packaging for a full list of other ingredients. Pack size is 15ml containing on average 53 doses.
Who can use Sudafed Nasal Spray?
Sudafed Liquid can be used by adults and children aged 6 years and older.
Dose
Adults and Children aged 12 years and over – one spray into each nostril 2-3 times daily as required. Maximum of 3 doses per day. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days.
Children aged between 6 and 12 years – one spray into each nostril 2-3 times daily as required. Maximum of 3 doses per day. Do not use for more than 5 consecutive days.
Side Effects and Cautions
Reported side effects include nasal discomfort and sneezing. Symptoms may rebound if you use the product for longer than the recommended period of treatment. Please see product literature for a full list of possible side effects. Do not use Sudafed Nasal Spray if you are allergic to any ingredients; if you have a heart condition known as long QT syndrome; if you have cardiovascular disease including high blood pressure; if you have diabetes, severe kidney failure, over-active thyroid gland, or closed angle glaucoma.
Pregnancy or Breastfeeding
Consult your doctor before using if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
How to Store Sudafed Nasal Spray
Store Sudafed Nasal Spray below 25ºC and remember to keep all medicine out of sight and reach of children. You should return any unused or date expired medicines to your pharmacist for safe destruction.
