Dioralyte Sachets Citrus are oral rehydration salts used to correct fluid and electrolyte loss and help to manage diarrhoea.

Who is this medicine for?

This medicine can be used by adults and children aged 2 years and older.

How to use Dioralyte Sachets Citrus

For adults, the recommended dose is one or two sachets after every loose bowel motion.  The contents of each sachet should be dissolved in 200ml of drinking water.  Make up the solution immediately before use.  The solution may be stored in a refrigerator for up to 24 hours.  Otherwise, any unused solution should be discarded.

Children aged 2 years and over should use one sachet of Dioralyte Sachets Citrus after every loose motion.

Precautions

Do not use if you are allergic to any product ingredient.  Use only under medical supervision if you have chronic diarrhoea, liver disease, kidney disease, diabetes, intestinal obstruction or if you are on a low sodium or potassium diet.

Pregnancy and Breast Feeding

Check with your doctor before using if you are pregnant or breast feeding.

Ingredients

Each sachet contains sodium chloride, potassium chloride, glucose and disodium hydrogen citrate as the active ingredients.  Please see product packaging for a full list of other ingredients.  Pack size 6 sachets.

How to store Dioralyte Sachets Citrus

Do not store Dioralyte Sachets Citrus above 25°C.  Do not use the product after the expiry date marked on the pack.  Keep all medicines out of reach of children and remember to return all unused or out of date medicines to your pharmacy for safe disposal.
