Description
Cetrine Allergy
Cetrine Allergy is an antihistamine used to relieve the symptoms of hayfever, urticaria and pruritis. Hayfever is usually caused by exposure to grass, tree or weed pollen, and symptoms include itchy, runny and blocked nose; sneezing; and watery eyes. Urticaria is the medical name for hives, while pruritis means itchy skin.
Active Ingredient
Each Cetrine Allergy tablet contains 10mg of Cetirizine as the active ingredient. It also contains lactose monohydrate. Each pack contains 30 tablets.
Who can take Cetrine Allergy?
Cetrine Allergy can be taken by adults and children aged 6 years and over.
Dose
Adults and children aged over 12 years – take one tablet once daily
Children aged between 6 and 12 years – take half of one tablet twice daily
Side Effects
Drowsiness with this product is rare but please take care if you are taking this medicine for the first time. If your are affected by drowsiness please take care if driving or operating machinery.
Pregnancy or Breastfeeding
This medicine should be used with caution during pregnancy because there is limited experience of its use. Do not use this medicine if you are breastfeeding.
Storage
Store Cetrine Allergy below 25ºC and remember to keep all medicine out of sight and reach of children. You should return any unused or date expired medicines to your pharmacist for safe destruction.
