Dulcolax Tablets provide gentle effective relief from constipation.  They work within 8 to 12 hours to provide predictable relief and restore your natural rhythm.

Who is this medicine for?

This medicine can be used by adults and children aged 10 years and older.

How to use Dulcolax Tablets

The recommended dose is between 1 and 2 tablets in 24 hours, taken at night.  Start by taking 1 tablet and only increase to 2 tablets if 1 has had no effect.  If you do not experience a bowel movement within 3 days of use, we recommend that you check with your GP or hospital doctor.  Once your bowel habits are normal again, you should reduce the dose and then stop taking.

Precautions

Do not use if you are allergic to any product ingredient.  Prolonged use of Dulcolax Tablets may result in diarrhoea and low potassium levels.  Consult your doctor if you need to use Dulcolax every day.  Long term use of laxatives is not recommended without the cause being investigated.  Please contact us before purchase if you are taking any prescription medicines.  Common side effects include nausea and abdominal pain.

Pregnancy and Breast Feeding

Do not use Dulcolax Tablets if you are pregnant or breast feeding.

How to store Dulcolax Tablets

Do not store Dulcolax Tablets above 25°C.  Do not use the product after the expiry date marked on the pack.  Keep all medicines out of reach of children and remember to return all unused or out of date medicines to your pharmacy for safe disposal.
