Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo

Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo is used to treat and prevent dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis.  It relieves scalp dryness, flaking, redness and itching.  Its target action treats the underlying cause of dandruff while being pleasantly gentle for your hair.

Active Ingredient

Contains Ketoconazole 20mg/g as the active ingredient.  Please see product packaging for a full list of other ingredients.  Pack size is 100ml providing up to five months treatment.

Who can use Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo?

Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo can be used by adults and children aged 12 years and over.

Directions for Use

1. Wet your hair
2. Apply a small amount to the scalp
3. Leave on the scalp for 3 to 5 minutes
4. Rinse thoroughly

Use Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo every 3 to 4 days for the first 2 to 4 weeks.  This should get dandruff under control.  After that, you can use once every 1 to 2 weeks to keep dandruff away.

Side Effects and Cautions

There are no reported common side effects with this medicine.  Please see product literature for a list of reported side effects.  Avoid contact with the eyes and if contact with the eyes occurs you should rinse with water.

Pregnancy or Breastfeeding

There are no known risks asssociated with using Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to Store Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo

Store Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo below 25ºC and remember to keep all medicine out of sight and reach of children. You should return any unused or date expired medicines to your pharmacist for safe destruction.
