Description
Nytol
Nytol tablets are used to relieve temporary sleep disturbance in adults.
Active Ingredient
Each tablet contains 50mg of Diphenydramine Hydrochloride as the active ingredient. Please see product packaging for a full list of other ingredients. Each pack contains 20 tablets.
Who can use Nytol?
Nytol can be used by persons aged 18 years over and only. We recommend that persons aged 65 years and over only use this medicine after consulting with their doctor first.
Dose
Take one Nytol tablet 20 minutes before bed. Do not take more than one tablet in 24 hours. Please consult your doctor if symptoms persist for more than 7 days.
Side Effects and Cautions
Commons side effects include dry mouth, fatigue and drowsiness. Please see patient information leaflet for a full list of known side effects.
This medicine may cause drowsiness which persists the following morning. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery, and remember to avoid alcoholic drink.
Pregnancy or Breastfeeding
Consult your doctor before using Nytol if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
How to Store Nytol
Store Nytol tablets below 25ºC and remember to keep all medicine out of sight and reach of children. You should return any unused or date expired medicines to your pharmacist for safe destruction.
