Infrared Thermometer
The medical infrared thermometer is used to check body temperature. It uses non-contact infrared radiation to measure forehead temperature. Normal body temperature is between 36 and 36.8 degrees Celsius. For most people, high temperature or fever is a temperature greater than 38 degrees Celsius. High temperature can be one of the signs of an infection. Sometimes this is due to a cold but it may be due to something more serious.
